twofold ♥ Artist Bio

twofold is an industrial club music producer/DJ whose selections center around interrogating connections between regional, Black club sounds from the US, UK and Africa.

Since 2022, their sets have brought a mass of liberating percussive energy to underground dance nights in Atlanta, blending favorite genres of the ‘00s and ‘10s with cutting-edge experimental sounds.

twofold harnesses rhythms that span across time and place; what emerges is raw movement, shifting in response to the crowd in real time. Their productions follow suit, colliding the progeny of these genres with the sound design languages of sci-fi cinema and triple-A video games and creating a new cultural context for both, in which the dance floor is dramatically reconfigured into a site of sonic intervention.
